La Rochelle project
Boucherville, QC
Several rooms on the ground floor
2026

The La Rochelle Project is a residential renovation in Boucherville that affects the entire ground floor of a family home. The objective: to rethink each room individually, while considering the whole as a single living space.
The kitchen and dining room form the heart of the ground floor, designed for everyday living as well as entertaining. The back kitchen conceals daily clutter and keeps the kitchen uncluttered. It also serves as a small coffee nook, in front of a large window that opens to the outside.
The entrance and mudroom prioritize efficiency: well-thought-out storage, a natural flow for comings and goings, and a first look at the house that sets the tone, notably through the installation of ceramic flooring in the mudroom and the colorful custom-made furniture.
The bathroom and laundry room also feature different tones and textures, whether through textured wallpaper, colored paint, or even checkerboard ceramic flooring. The staircase and hallway have received some more subtle updates to emphasize the connection between the different rooms.
A timeless ground floor full of personality, designed for a family on Montreal's South Shore.
