The Fugère Project is a basement renovation in Blainville, designed to accommodate two very different lifestyles within the same space. On one side, a more tranquil morning routine for the parents; on the other, a play area perfectly suited to the children.

The walk-in bathroom addresses the primary need: a space to get ready early in the morning without waking the rest of the household, designed as a true private haven, elegant and functional, rather than simply a secondary bathroom. Just steps away, the children have their own dedicated area with a craft corner and other learning spaces, zones that cater to their interests and allow them to fully express themselves rather than simply occupying the space.

The stone fireplace in the living room acts as a meeting point between these two worlds, a place where the whole family inevitably gathers. The furniture was chosen to withstand the rigors of daily family life while maintaining an elegant and timeless look.

A basement on Montreal's North Shore that proves that a family home can also be a creative and aesthetic project, thought out down to the last detail.
